Growing up, we were taught to live and accept a gendered reality. It was only when we started learning more, and critically analysing the world around us, did we realise how unfair and skewed the world is.
Frustrated with the current situation and how desensitised and 'normal' injustices had become, we decided to do something about it, and that led to the creation of naarivad.in — a youth-led, Indian organisation focusing on the upliftment of women and gender minorities in policy, society & media.
Currently, we are trying to bring change through education, and are working on developing structured courses on financial literacy and gender sensitisation.
We aim to be part of an equal world, a world with many possibilities and are working towards providing enriching feminist content in all Indian regional languages, do volunteer as a Translator to help us achieve this.
